We were commissioned to do some work on one of the gears that operate the crane for the dredging boat.

The boat was working to dredge the sea floor in Portsmouth Harbour to make it deep enough to allow the Royal Navy’s newest aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth to berth in the dockyard.

The ship ran into a slight issue with the crane and we were on hand to effect a quick repair to allow the dredge to continue her time sensitive work. A gallery of a few photos is below:
